rays through river red gums—
we feel the Sun and the power of love

she lifts a heart of yarn from grass
then reads its note—
“The Power of Love”

birds sing as I mouth an ’80s song — The Power of Love

v.
Valentine’s Day—
I pass through space-time
with the one I love
