Extra-curricula is a new occasional column promoting the creative pursuits of our writers and musicians, beyond the borders of the very small but very rich world that is Stereo Stories.
Our drummer Matt McGrath is part of the band Solaris Rocks and next Friday 24 July Solaris Rocks is part of the regular Worth The Wallet gig at Kindred Bandroom in Footsville (Footscray/Yarrvaville).
Matt’s band will be one of four bands. The night starts at 7pm with Solaris Rocks due onstage at 8.15pm. As Kindred says: Patrons are invited to ‘pay what they can’ in which all of the proceeds go directly to the bands. Join us in getting our community together to do what we do best – support the local music scene!
