Great little story Niles. I too admire the performer and the song.
Cheers Luke.
Wow! What a great memory that has obviously shaped part of who you are. I too sat in Washington Square imagining what it was like in that winter now so long ago.
A great memory to have and share Niles thank-you. The closest I ever got to folk royalty was seeing Mike Seeger (Pete’s brother) at the Christchurch ( NZ ) folk club around 1969 -70.
