We are delighted to be part of a very special show  at the Local Word Writers Festival in Geelong on Saturday 24 August.

Our seven-piece band will be performing a select handful of classic Cave songs as we accompany evocative stories by Rhett Davis, Toni Jordan and Mark Smith.

In an exciting departure from our usual format, we will be working with songs by just the one songwriter, and longer stories, that are fiction rather than memoir.

The show stems from the book Into Your Arms – Nick Cave’s Songs Reimagined (Fremantle Press 2023), in which prominent Australian writers responded to Cave’s visionary genius with their own original and unsettling tales.
