ALBURY LOVE AND AFFECTION

The 10^th anniversary of our annual show at Write Around the Murray coincided with  WAM’S  20^th festival.

Our gig on Saturday 12 September was part of a showcase event featuring Albury writers and performers, along with Mitch Tambo and other festival authors.

We kicked off the night with Sgt Pepper/A Little Help from My Friends and in-between the poetry readings and music and comedy, we presented five stories:

Whiter Shade of Pale (story by Luke Davies)
I’m Yours (story by Gemma Keating)
Vapour Trail (story by Rhett Davis)
Blinding Lights (story by Aimee Chan)
and the evening’s finale Carlton/Lygon St Limbo (story by Dianne Wolfer).

We also sold some of our pocketbooks, which was a bonus!

It is a measure of the love and affection Albury holds for us that a very large display chronicling the history of the festival included several photos from our shows.
