In the new year we will be running pieces here on the website by Lucia Nardo (Now Comes The Night), Rowan McDonald (Hound Dog), Paul Dufficy (Blister On The Moon), newcomer Kendrea Rhodes (And She Was), and Kate Foulds (Here With Me).
Plus stories about songs by Gillian Welch, Big Mama Thornton, and John Grant.
‘Til then, though, our attention is firmly focused on a show we’re putting on at MEMO Music Hall, St Kilda, on Sunday afternoon 9 January. It’s a new venue for us and a rare chance to perform in these uncertain times. It’s a 15 song set list, from Edith Piaf to One Direction, with plenty of iconic songs in-between. And the stories, by guest writers and ourselves? Well, take a look at Jesse Maskell’s promo video:
If you can’t get to MEMO Music Hall, and we appreciate life is complicated these days, we’ll keep in touch via cyberspace and the interweb. See you next year, one way or another.

In good company…Postcard by Chris Rees

Looking forward to the show!
There will be enough changes from the Bendigo gig last May to keep you guessing. Cheers.
Yes, yes, yes!!!!
I’ll be there, drinking it all in.
It’s been far too long and I’m parched, bone dry.
