Thomas Mayo, Jane Caro and Rijn Collins are amongst the guest writers for our concert at Write Around the Murray in Albury on Saturday evening 13 September.

Tickets are now on sale.

Thomas Mayo was part of our Queenscliff 2024 gig, receiving a standing ovation.

Long-time Williamstown Lit Fest favourite Darren ‘Smokie’ Dawson will be joining us in Albury for the first time, alongside a debut appearance by Wodonga resident John McDonald.

The show will feature a two-part story, ‘Hollow’, by Simon Castles, author of Mixtape (Ginninderra Press, 2023). ‘Hollow’ won the 2024 Write Around the Murray Short Story Award.

The show will also include stories from band members Chris Phillips, Gemma Keating and Martina Medica.

Amongst the stories and tunes from the past there will be contemporary and original songs.

WAM is our home away from home. Always a privilege to be on the border.
