In the third of our Rewind series we take a look back at Nick Gadd’s touching story of tending to his infant daughter Genny (who recently turned 21!). This story was one of the first Stereo Stories, and has been performed in concert.

There’s been nothing in my life as simultaneously scary, joyful and baffling as holding my first child. Many aspects of life were recalibrated. Among them, I discovered new dimensions to one of my favourite pieces of music.

Nick is a novelist, essayist and blogger. His novel Ghostlines, set in Melbourne's west, won a Victorian Premier's Literary Award and a Ned Kelly Award.
